Just a couple of photos of water in the back yard at 9.00 this morning. Currently rising at 150mm per hour. Still about 2 m from house.

Pretty awesome sight, though must be a little nerve wrenching! Still, with the sun shining in the images and it looks like a very beautiful part of the world. Has it reached any previous recorded peaks?

Not even close . Once again the media and emergency services were in full swing. The creek peaked 150mm below sept which is still 1.9m below 1993 levels .
