I'm after some info on how to get an eel smoked. As we caught a decent one today which is in the fridge I'd like to get it smoked. Does any one know someone in the geelong area that has a smoke house? Or a butcher that can?

Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers.

Just bought a smoke oven from anaconda today for $49 about 2ft long by a foot wide, should accommodate most fish you'll catch in vic.

Well the eel is cut up into 50 cm and in the freezer atm. i'll check that out, sounds like a good option as i really enjoy smoked eel/fish/meat.
