Has anyone eaten Urchin? I'm just curious. I know Urchin is either love or hate. I ate urchin once its not bad... nice different. |

When one of my dive buddies gets hungry mid way through a dive he cracks open a urchin eats the roe and uses the rest for burley. I tryed it once and it's ok, not the best but not the worst. It tastes like a low grade caviar, it's a funny taste and texture. Cheers. |

I'm sure I've typed this before but at Daimaru they did a dish with a strip of urchin roe on top of an oyster with som egg white that has a little soy and wasabi in it. grill until the egg white is just set. |
