was flicking some more plastics in geelong and as it got dark i got 2 of these fish. I was very wary of touching it as it had spines everywhere. It even had spines above its mouth like a moustache! sory about the pic as it was dark already. again no idea on the species

Almost looks like a huge Fortescue. Nasty bastards, hurt like anything, used to stand on them all the time while prawning.

Gymnapistes marmoratus. Also called "Soldier" or "Cobbler".

Unlike the Fortescue, it lacks scales and gets much larger.
