was flicking some more plastics in geelong and as it got dark i got 2 of these fish. I was very wary of touching it as it had spines everywhere. It even had spines above its mouth like a moustache! sory about the pic as it was dark already. again no idea on the species

Almost looks like a huge Fortescue. Nasty bastards, hurt like anything, used to stand on them all the time while prawning. |

Gymnapistes marmoratus. Also called "Soldier" or "Cobbler". Unlike the Fortescue, it lacks scales and gets much larger. |
