Sorry for the late reply... Watto, Adam, Shane, Danny and myself headed to Cape Conran on the Wednesday after the Newhaven Boat Comp. The weather and conditions were reasonable with overcast, light winds, low swell and 10-15m slightly hazy vis in areas. There was heaps of fish life; yakkas mixed with slimeys, Bandies, Maggies, Black Drummer, Silver Drummer, Trevally, True and Sea Sweep, Trumps, Salmon, Big six spines, horse shoes, orange tails, luderick, mullet, eastern rock lobster and many more. Overall it was a great trip and I would go there again. We stayed at the Banksia Bluff bush camping area on the beach at east Cape Conran which is absolutely awesome and a really good place to stay.
