It's the biggest boar I have ever seen too. I'll never shoot another one though, I heard they were good eating and this tasted like rubber. Shame to shoot such a lovely fish only for it to be crap on the plate.

Awesome fishes. I too love my gas cooker. Lives on the boat. Bacon and eggs on a cold ppb morning. Love it!

The missus cooked it... pan fried with herbs and stuff, she's a great cook.
It just tated like crap..... maybe had something wrong with it.
As far as duskys mate, I dont know... Some say they're ok if prepared right, others say they're rubbish.
I take them coz there's so many around and they have alot of flesh on them I can cook and feed to my dogs. It's good for them and they LOVE it !

I cooked up a boar and a sweep both pan fried til crispy and both tasted great, did enjoy the sweep a bit more since the skin was nicer but I'll definitely not pass up on boarfish :p
