You can tow if you have a fully licensed driver beside you and a driver under instruction plate front and back.

Flat enough day today for an opening account of one cray coming in under a kg. More out there, but flighty, probably due to a bunch of broken antenna.

NW winds made for an opening today. Warm water, up to 12m vis. With in an hour of the SW winds kicking in this afternoon, surge and chop rolled the vis down to 4m in the shallows would still be good out wide.

The swell today was down and northerly winds so Stoj , James and I headed early to Kilcunda to try for crays. Nice conditions except for the viz which was 4-5m. Lots more weed cover than a few months ago (maybe a good storm will clean it up?) and only a few crays seen, but James and Stoj got one each , best was 1.6kg. Fish life was good, lots of reef species and a school of long-finned pike. James also got a pinkie. Then we tried Wonthaggi and had similar conditions, but only saw 3 crays in 2 hours, James got a nice 2.2kg male cray. 2 biggest wobbies I've ever seen resting in caves, one was 7 ft long. I tried to keep a school of trevally interested with some burley but one missed shot and never saw them again. An occasional snapper showed up in 5m depth and finally one came into range, my best one yet at 1.75kg and my first Vic challenge entry! We also got a couple of nice trumpeter.
