Dive Spots for crays at Phillip island in november Hello, Im going down to Phillip Island for a week over November and wondering where spots are for getting crays while shorediving. |

Hi J-Thomas, No one will give you their cray spots, but there are crays around Phillip Island. Have a look on google earth / maps (satellite view) for reef structure and start there. If you go out wide, be careful of current and don't dive alone. Also some of the beaches on phillips island are popular with swimmers, so if you dive around a beach please cover the tips on any spears/prangers when out of the water. Also to note: Cray season opens on 16th November for both male and female crays. So you cannot take any before that date. Good luck and happy diving! |

Thanks for that. I had a feeling no one would tell me exactly where but I'll be there after the 16th so that'll be good and I will look at google maps for reef |
