target bronze whaler, hammerhead.
good reports of gummies school and seven gills, this beach has also produced great whites although not common.

Cheers XY71 , heard of that stuff happening before , not nice.thats 1/2 the reason my rodholders have teathers on them so that waves or big noahs dont pull it out.
one of mates almost had a rod stolen off point lonsdale pier one night while they were sleeping, lucky it was tied down and it woke him up.

Hey Dave, have you been getting any off the spot?... just wondering, a mate had a 300-ish kg bronzey approch him up the coast on Saturday. I also heard there were good numbers of mako caught in close far west coast. What has happened to the windless summer days/nights, has julia and the greens banned them?

Try Cape Schank, I hear that's fairly sharky on the west side of the point. Also anywhere on or around Philip Island could be worth a shot. Heard a bloke snagged a 3m Seven Gill shark at San Remo. And also heard about guys catching thrasher sharks on Rosebud pier, on Jetty Rd.
