Cheers XY71 , heard of that stuff happening before , not nice.thats 1/2 the reason my rodholders have teathers on them so that waves or big noahs dont pull it out. one of mates almost had a rod stolen off point lonsdale pier one night while they were sleeping, lucky it was tied down and it woke him up. |

Hey Dave, have you been getting any off the spot?... just wondering, a mate had a 300-ish kg bronzey approch him up the coast on Saturday. I also heard there were good numbers of mako caught in close far west coast. What has happened to the windless summer days/nights, has julia and the greens banned them? |

Try Cape Schank, I hear that's fairly sharky on the west side of the point. Also anywhere on or around Philip Island could be worth a shot. Heard a bloke snagged a 3m Seven Gill shark at San Remo. And also heard about guys catching thrasher sharks on Rosebud pier, on Jetty Rd. |

smaller ones, not chucking quiet as much burley in when spearing, only koz i know the results! only biggen i have seen while diving was in cape conran, just beside the boat ramps near the bombies, was by myself and had only been spearing a handful of times prior. shat myself, looked like a truck cruising through the water, def not a giller. quick aquaplane to shore |
