had a trip to eden with a few friends last weekend. did some fishing off navy pier where we got onto some bonito. great fighting fish for thier size much like trevally. the tricky part in getting them was getting the bait past the small slimy mackerals. The bonito also only seemed to want to take an unweighted bait. anyone know how far south they come? we cooked the bonito on the campfire bbq so they had a slight smoky flavour too which was supurb!
