hey guys Anyone been out fishing near st leonards area or queenscliff?? thinking about going out might go for a dive dont no yet

If u grab the free papers that make the rounds they both have fishing parts in the back of them... I get them both here in ocean grove ... and you can pick them up for free around the shops here ...

Was out at queenscliff yesterday, fished the whole day. Water was filthy all the way along. Maybe two meters vis. Only got a couple KGW, very quiet day. Fished in close for squid, where we could see the bottom had a few follow the bait but wouldn't take it. Some keen fella was spearin in the shitty vis, maybe he was doing better.

the squid did that to me on sunday at potrtarlington the squid came and had a look and a nibble at the jig but not reel keen :cry:

queens cliff harbor 4pm-9:30pm schools of mullet and trevs seen but no takers. all in all waist of time
