yesterday i called my LGS to see if my PTA has finished and they replied with "yeah mate you can come pick it up when ever"
i said "ill be there in 20 min"
after 2 and a half hours at the fun shop and a fair bit of cash later i walked out with my very own
savage model 12 BTCSS in .204 ruger with a 6-24X50 olivon ranger scope and Harris bipod and a few boxes of ammo
ammo pictured is hornardy 32gr v-max Winchester super X 32gr hollow points and Winchester 32gr ballistic silvertips

im mainly using it for a long range bunny buster.
for the warrens that are to hard to stalk up to with air rifle or bow.

its a good flat shooter and just very fun to shoot.
alot of people are trading their 223's in for .204's

my check list is:
savage .204 ruger (tick)
Gamo air rifle (next week hopefully)
CZ .22/.22 MAG
Remington 700 XHR .270WSM
sako custom 300RUM or 338 lap mag
Bretta silver pigeon 12g o/u shotgun

hey tvolke know any good open property's that have rabbit warrens on them?

lmao Paddy just get a 308 itll cover everything. My 06 is gathering dust atm as all the deer in my area got wiped out on black saturday, well not quite all of them! ;) Brad i hav a winchester wif synthetic stock and a 3-12x56 illuminated scope, cant think of the name right now but its a $1200 scope

i got a tikka t3 lite stainless , with a 3x9x40 leupold scope
and paddy i have a Beretta 686e silver pigeon great for bunnies in the long grass :)
and with all these gun's man what are you thinking of hunting ?
