Had a good day out in the north end of the bay yesterday...we got a bag of snapper in under the hour...all rods on board buckled at once....lucky to return to the ramp before peak hour there...Altona ramp turns into a Chapel St. come snapper season...will try and post some pics of the mayhem at the ramps. Stay tuned.

With the amount of boat traffic wouldnt even sniff at the idea of diving there! fish ranged from 2-3kgs.

peace.

Changed my mind about snapper fishing last night. It is not a poofters game. It is very enjoyable sport for intelligent gentlemen.

Whos put a X2 on in this thread?

Saw a 9.0 kg yesterday (not mine), dosent look that much smaller, its hard to tell thats why im asking the question if he weight it!

Personally never bullshited about a fish weight ot length, dont see the point.
