I’m running a 1 day Freediving course (*pool based) next weekend on the weekend of the 5/6 March. The cost will be $160, I will do all the same Theory and Practical as the normal courses I run minus the boat dive. If there is enough demand I will consider running a course on both days. You will need to pay a $60 deposit by thursday 3 March to secure a place.

Most people on previous courses after learning proper breathing, relaxation and preparation techniques have achieved around 3 - 4 minute breath-holds. As always learning safety and blackout rescue techniques are a major part of the course.

A little about me – my background is competitive freediving with PB's of 111m CWT, 74m CNF, 8.31 Static, 215m DYN and 175m DNF. I have set 33 National records and currently hold 4. I have taught several hundred divers around Australia since 2004 including 7 courses with Southern Freedivers members.
