Hey guys i'm all new to this stuff but want to jump straight in. First of all i am sorry for asking these questions since they probably do get asked quite a lot and secondly, i would like to thank those who answer.

1- How is Schnapper point at Mornington for spearing?
2- Is 8 meters too shallow to be spearing?
3- What are the chances of sharks and being attacked? Is it as high in the bays?

1-OK
2-no
3-half the people on here are missing at least 1 limb. I lose at least 1 leg every time I dive in the bay, sometimes 2 or 3.

2 times in thirty years and what would have to be around a thousand dives. one at Willy and one at Quarantine bay before it was a marine reserve. Only the Williamstown gave me a problem.
