Hi,

I live inland now but often dive for lobs and abs around Bermagui and surrounds. I'm looking for a new wetsuit and would like to but from an Aussie online supplier (online due to being too far from capital city stores). Currently I get by with a 3mm closed cell wetty but it gets too cold in winter.

To increase the months I can dive I was wondering if the Cressi 'Tracina' 3.5mm open cell suit (my price range<$300) will be good for water down to 15 degrees but mainly over 18 degrees? Another I have found in my range is the Omer 3mm suit or Sporasub 3mm. Also is there any recommendations for reputable Aussie online suppliers and/or other comparably priced brands?

Due to the whole inland/remoteness thing and buying online would anyone be able to put me onto the right size? my dimensions are: neck - 38cm; chest - 101cm; waist - 85cm; hips - 92cm; inseam - 72cm; height 169cm and weight 70kg.

Many thanks in advance, cheers.

I can recommend the Cressi 'Tracina' i have the 5mm though.
I could stay in 15°C for around 4 hours comfortably? but in 18°C i could probably stay all day.
Would say 3.5mm would be too cold for under 18°C but your choice.

Also for the sizing i got a M/3 almost identical stats to you fits really well, when i first got it was 78kg, now like 72kg and still good if not better.
The next size up or down is too huge of a jump so I'd definitely go M/3.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for that bit of info. A 5mm might be the go and a 3mm top for summer
