I hope to find a distributor for this board in NZ and Australia. My next version will be fully enclosed with a watertight access and insulated. That one I may end up making in Australia. This one is more of a reef board for getting a few abalone, rockfish and crays. The next board will be with kingies in mind.

It is not quite done yet but in the USA it'll sell from 200 to 250 USD.
There will be several options that will effect the price - dry storage, stainless hardware or plastice, harness, optional fabric cover, stainless eyebolt in bottom for floatline, flag mount system, etc. The basic will go for 200.
Here is pic of the optional fabric cover.

The back pack setup is a good idea, has there been any problems with higher drag?

Do you mean drag from the scuppers? If so, I will say that it has far less drag than a modified boogie board because of the greater buoyancy. I think the drag created from the scuppers is negligable.
