Pelaj Venom Railgun 1m VS Beauchat Marlin 1050 VS Freedivers Protoge 1m

Which is best for an aspiring beginner in PPB?

They'll all do the same thing, stick to a 1m barrel length. Some people have issues with Pelaj gun quality. How much do you want to spend?

They're all around the $200 mark which is probably my range. I'm currently borrowing a mates Seahornet competition, so looking for my own gun when he askes for it back. These guns should be good for a beginner yeah? any other recommendations?

I brought the Pelaj venom 1m as my first gun & my mate has the 900, no problem with the guns at all! obviously the 1m has a better range, otherwise it shoots straight (i go after garfish sometimes) and gets me my dinner.. Thats all i want in a gun at the moment. The only issue i have is with gloves on the safety can be a bit annoying to lock on and off.

A good gun is a good gun and a shit gun is a shit gun. There is no such thing as a good gun for a beginner.

Well as a beginner, I'm most likely shooting smaller fish and im not so experienced at stalking yet so something good around shallow reefs (down to max 8m) that would be good for a range of fish. If all of the above guns are all considered good guns and all in the same class then its down to price i guess. Looking like the Pelaj at this point.

If theres anything else, I'm open to ideas/alternatives, etc. Thanks for the input everyone :)

You can't go wrong, they all shoot a spear. Just stick with 1m barrel, easy, no complications.
