Wouldn't mind getting around on one of these haha.. http://www.avoninflatables.co.uk/perfor ... -jet-sc-dl They look pretty shmick not sure how they would handle though. I've been looking at maybe getting a centre consoul style inflatable with fibreglass hull. Somehting like this would be nice, pretty cheap too! http://www.boatsales.com.au/boats-for-s ... R=10013698 Anyone know much about this style of inflatable? Might have to pay Wiggs a visit |

new one will set you back approx $55k and it is small and the jet units need a rebuild every 200hrs or so. having said that over 100hp in a boat like this is pretty fun. for diving not practical though. try the pro range of boats by zodiac better priced and built like a tank. just finished building myself one will post pics later. |

Ok here it is. This is a zodiac pro 550 or 12 man. Its 5.2m long 2.2m wide and has a 95lt fuel tank under floor. This one has limited edition military grade NEO collars (hypalon) this one has a 90hp optimax and although it is yet to see the water should do almost 40knots at WOT and has a range of approx 300km @ cruise. it has smart craft instruments, humminbird side imaging sounder and twin batteries with a VSR so you always have one full battery. this is a much better dive boat. this one is probably about $40K or just over with the options but even its smaller models are nice dive boats.

Here's a couple of pics of a 10 meter Naiad RIB that I ran out of Hamilton island for a while, twin Suzuki 300hp fourstrokes, as soon as I would have it out of sight of the harbour I drove it like I stole it off a Columbian drug lord, went like shit off a shovel, awesome boat... maybe I should ask for my job back... those were the days!!
