ive got myself a set of JB Esclapez Powermax Fins

2 questions

are these anygood ( how to they compair to dive r's

2nd question will dive r's or ruku's suit these fin pockets :mrgreen:

1. They are OK but not alot of peoples feet fit in the foot pocket (weird shape). A million times different to diveRs! One is a plastic/rubber fin the other is a glass composite.

2. I wouldn't think so. Don't even think you can take the blade out of the JB's??

yep the blade comes out 1 big bolt and 2 little screws

the foot pockets felt a little loose to me with a sock it feels good but ive also heard about jb's comfort issues

If you have a foot shape which fits the pocket (like mine) then they are a great fin. I change between my DiveRs, my Esclapez, my Immersions (favourites), my Omers, my Seacs and my Picassos and honestly don't notice a lot of difference, although I do lean toward my DiveRs and Esclapez when deeper diving is involved.

yea i prob didnt say it right ... without socks/booties they felt loose but a when i wear booties they feel great .. ive got no issue wearing my jb's



.. im not sure if i wanna invest in some dive r's if they dont fit the jb footpockets
