have a picasso (think a scorpion) 100cm railgun.

basically the spear doesnt lock into the locking place. not sure if its sand? or what it is or its just time for a new locking mechanism part.

what should i do?
is it possible to replace it say chuck a rob allen part for the picasso or some other brand. or should i just replace.
thoughts would be appreciated.
gonna google it as well and maybe go into legendary

Check that your line release is where it should be.

Check your shooting line isn't too thick, and the crimp isn't too close to the shaft. I tried 300 pound mono and it caused heaps of issues with the spear locking in, went down a grade and it's fine now.

you can only mix and match some brands and some of their models.
and the picture is of a beuchat marlin. isnt your gun a picasso?
if the gun was brought in aus bring it in and we'll have a look at it. if it wasn't we can still have a look and fix it, might cost a little bit in parts if it needs any.

I had the same problem with my freedivers gun after getting westernport silt all up through it. I just had to flush (with a bit of pressure) the mech and line release with water thoroughly untill all the silt came out, also made sure line release and trigger were in proper position and it was fine again...
