What you guys think of the H-Bomb vest? Anyone tried it while surfing or diving?

If they built wetsuits that work they wouldn't need to build heaters would they?

At some point a top of the line 3mm wetsuit will not be enough coming into winter in Victoria. If this vest + 3mm can keep you warm to the same degree as a 5mm wetsuit then it could be worthwhile (if it were not new technology priced at $350 - very expensive). I think a 3mm + vest would be more flexible than a 5mm. As for a warmth comparison, I have no idea.
I didn't think it was worth posting this on a surfing forum 'cause heat loss whilst sitting / paddling on a surfboard is significantly less than when fully submerged whilst diving.

I guess all you can do is wait and hope somebody invents the batteryless wetsuit vest.

I went for a dive Yesterday in my Picasso smooth skin - 3mm vest, was in the water for about seven hours and could really notice the difference after a couple of hours in the water.

My god. 7 hours in the middle of winter. You must be nice and warm.
