Hello all been searching the web and came across a Greek wetsuit manufacturer that builds custom suits for the same price as off the shelf!
Price is cheap they are made from heiwa as opposed to the popular Yamamoto has anyone tried one? Or have anything to add. Thing I like mOst is it's custom made as I have broad shoulders and a big neck making shelf suits a little uncomfortable.. Thanks guys!!

I have one of those suits, very good suits but not for beginners. It is a smoothskin suit design for deep freediving made from Heiwa AWS. The company name is INBLUE, If you want pm me and I give the details. They are very good suits, probably the best for deep spearfishing but they very delicate and you need to know that it is what you need before buying one. I recomend those suits only for serious divers, as a beginner will destroy it in the first dive.
For can of warms, if someone want one of those freediving suit he have to buy it from overseas for the simple reason - we don't have them here. None sells them, very few people use them including me so economically it is not worth it.

Talk about what ever u want mate, some people don't agree with buying stuff from overseas, I got my last wetsuit sent from America without any problems, my fins from Estonia with no problems, n just brought a new wetsuit today from legendary, if u find a bargain on the net then grab it but if it comes torn or faulty u might not be able to return it, but if u buy local it will be much easier if u no what I mean

I have looked at legendary and like the 4mm commercial torelli on special is the Yamamoto 39 more flexible not as hard wearing and more susceptible to compression at depth as opposed to the Yamamoto 45? Once suits do compress to they stay that way or come back to normal on the surface what depths are bothe the 45 and 39 suitable to dive to? Looking at using a suit for dives to 40m for around 40 mins and do you guys prefer a long john or high pants thanks guys for your help it is much appreciated

the 4mm speardiver suit, is made of yamamoto 45 with a scs lining making it a very durable suit. it is not as flexible as the 39. this suit and rubber is a commercial grade and suited to spearfishing, scuba and short periods of commercial use (as 4mm at depth can be cold after a long period of time).

Hey Thommo I would highly recommend getting yourself one from Oceanos!!

I ordered mine from them and I had it custom made too. I'm also very broad in my shoulders and have a skinny waist finding it hard to get a good fit around that area. I had a friend from Denmark get me onto them as he had a few custom made and said they are great wetsuits.
Mine cost $315 and that's shipping and all. It was cheaper then anything I could find here plus it was custom made. 5mm..

I bought it in early 2010 and it is still going strong and I do a lot of rock hopping.. I have made a few tiny repairs with some wetsuit glue..

Its great cant say anyting bad about it really. Just make sure you get someone to do your measurements for you.

What state are we talking. What time of year? What water temperatures? Doing overlong decompression diving are we? For the diving you describe for the times you describe. 7mm minimum or a drysuit. A 4mm suit on a SCUBA dive to 40 metres in Vic will afford you almost NO thermal protection, and WILL increase your susceptibility to decompression sickness.

Sorry Brett diving in Vic most dives will be 20-30m 5mm would be border line currently I have 6.5mm and warmth isnt an issue but the cut and material make it very restrictive! Have heard of people scuba in Vic all year round in a 5mm. the 4mm at Legendary would be perfect if it was 5mm just trying to find an option to get a suit that can do both reasonably without having to purchase two.

Hey I ordered 5mm open cell two piece, so I do need lube to get into it but it keeps me nice and warm throughout winter. I also opted for the knee and elbow pads and the chest pad of course and as you can see I got the green camo and the hood

File comment: This is how the package turned up lol there was no damage to the suit thankfully!

Fluid high it looks really good fits well no baggy spots etc so this is no problem all year round? I am looking for the nylon lined just because I am wanting it for scuba and the extra strength it provides is needed! It's good to know I haven't heard a bad word about them yet!
