Cut off the other one and tie in a dyneema bridle.

You can't. I believe they use a machine to do them. How new are the rubbers? If they were bought local I would take them back as they shouldn't really pop there.

yeah, I recon Gregs got it - cut off the end of the rubber and push in a dyneema bridal, and then tie it off. Save your self 20 bucks buying bulk rubber....

Greg has the right idea
However... If you can be bothered ...

You'll need to make yourself a threaded tool to match the thread of your bridle caps
Also check other technical YouTube videos by Adriano Crea who has some other ideas on threaded bridles

I have been doing my own this way for a couple of years.( as in the vid). Works fine but there is an art to getting the rubber through.

Andrew, any noticable difference between the ones you do yourself or a purchased one?

No none at all. Taper on the end of the rubber needs to be long to get it through the plastic, I have tried several types of tied in ones but the rubber always gives out around the ball or whatever is inserted.I have the correct tap if you want to make up a plate with a threaded hole to go in the vice.
