Citizen Promaster aqualand Eco drive
Has anyone used one would like to use For free diving .
Well, I have not, but I presume I can still give you some advice, since I am the happy user (since around 1998) of an Aqualand II Titanium, and I still deem it the best watch for freediving (unless you go for watches you would wear only when diving).
Actually, I gave a thought about buying the Aqualand Eco-drive, but it lacks dive-time measurement, which I deem of the essence for a freediver (see the manual
herehttp://www.citizenwatches.com.au/in ... nuals/B740). Aqualand II, on the contrary, has both depth and dive-time measurements (see
http://www.citizenwatches.com.au/instru ... nuals/C500).
Moreover, the addition of two digital displays on the Aqualand II makes it more ergonomic... and the Eco-drive is not maintenance-free either, since Citizen advices on changing the gasket every few years anyway.
By the way, you may consider buying a Titanium watch, since rubber bands worn out relatively quickly and seriously water-proof watches made of steel are heavy.
