I'm about 6'3 and 80-85 kg. I'm after a 3mm or a 5mm suit. I don't do a whole lot of diving over winter but I plan to. Would 3mm keep me warm enough for short dives in winter. I'm from the Wilson's prom area.
New or second hand I don't mind! As long as it's in good condition.
Also after a dive float setup too!
Looking to spend $250 - $350 on the suit. Is that realistic?
And maybe $50 - $100 on the float.
Cheers!

350 will get a 3mm Esclapez labrax (From Brett). 380 will get the 5mm.

3mm opencell might keep you warm for an hour or two in winter (by that I mean, it will fend off hypothermia - it wont keep you particularly comfortable too long) - 5mm is definitely the way to go.

You can pick up inflatable floats for about the 50 dollar mark - but make sure you get a good quality float line too (which are going to be about 50 - 100 depending on brand and length).

Brett taught Yoda who then taught Obi-Wan Kenobi, Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker.
