i remember you saying you have a steamer wetty and not a spearo wetty. bring an old thong with you to stick inside on your wetty to place the butt of the gun on when loading. enjoy! let me know how it all goes.

Cooper the gun goes like a rocket and unbelievably the mono I rigged up held tight..... Saw heaps of pinkies and big ass banded wrasse but nothing I could have a shot at.. Tested it in some sandy patches to see how it went.. Nearly tore my left little pinkie off with the steel bridle the very first time I loaded it.
Worked it out now but I have some massive bruises on my chest from the but..
The old double plugger sounds like a doozie of an idea.. Definitely try it next time.

haha yeah they are new rubbers so they should pack a punch and be a bit of a bitch to load. They will loosen up after a few shots.

I always wear cheap gloves from anaconda. call me a pussy but it makes reaching out and grabbing slimy, spiky fish a little easier. Also protects your hands from your knife.
