Back in my butcher days I had both of these. Top knives, and not a bad price. Last for years if you know how to sharpen them right. |

If I hadn't bought a new filleting knife 12 months ago I'd have snapped one of these up in a heartbeat. Victorinox knives have good steel in them, they're well built, and bang-for-the-buck (according to the research I did on it a couple of years ago), I couldn't find many brands out there can match them. Have had a Victorinox chef's knife and utility knife in the kitchen for at least a couple of years now, they're holding their edges well and are a pleasure to use. 'Not surprised to hear Jaws was using them when working as a butcher; my brother-in-law said it was Victorinox knives that Safeway stocked it's butcher/deli section with 'back when he was working in it as a teenager. With the amount of meat a supermarket sells you'd be going through knives pretty quick, so if anyone would know what the best value-for-money knife out there is, I'm guessing the supermarket managers would be pretty high up the list. Hey Muzza - is this offer likely to be an ongoing thing/likely to pop up again in a year or so's time when I may be in the market again for a fillet knife? Cheers. |

Im just doing this for a mate so not sure how long he will keep selling them Roamin PPB,im sure if people keep buying them he will keep suppling them. im going to grab 2 of each, cant beat these prices any where. When i put this up i figured id be just taking the knives to the Club Meetings to give to the guys, but its become clear that i may have to post them to a few. Who would need them posted? ill have to look into postage costs, which would be bugger all i recon. |
