My apologies Brett, didn't know you invented the Kingfish package. I will have to pay you a royalty when it sells. |

How can half RRP be misleading ? If there is a RRP and the price is half that then its half RRP. $ 500 sounds like a great deal for the package. Bretts is attractive as well. They are both different packages. |

Just for the sake of educating some newbys who are not yet of KingFish calibre.... such as myself, what are the differences in Bretts and the Legendary package? |

Pretty self explanatory. Bretts- Wooden gun 1.3m 2 x 16mm- Hard float-20 m float line + Bunjie . Legendary -Alloy 1.4m gun single 18/19mm- Inflatable float- 30 m float line. Either package a great price and both suitable for the job at hand. Contact the sellers if you want advice Its not rocket science ! Really comes down to personal preference. |

Yeah I get that it's not rocket science, thanks. But it's not really self explanatory to someone new to the sport. I also know how to read simple descriptions that are written in a post. What i did not know was what difference the details in each pack would offer. What I was asking was more about.... does the extra 10cm in gun length make alot of difference? Are two 16mm alot more powerful than a single 19mm? Hard float / inflatable....pros and cons? In any case it doesn't really matter I suppose, Im not going for fish that big yet, I was just looking to educate myself a bit more for the future. I'm not sure how you intended that response to be read, but it came across a little backhanded..... |

come on mate that's bullshit. Andrew's response was spot on. Especially the 'contact the seller if you want advice' part. |

Whats your intention occ.... Nah Jk But seriously, all Andrew did was restate the two packages and didn't Really say what the differences pros/cons. made a political response which didn't offer any real value in the answer and mostlikly would have been better off not posting anything at all. Wouldn't him replying in thus thread be "contacting" seller as no mobile number is listed... |

2 X 16's are a bit easier than a 19 to load. A 1.3 is a bit easier than a 1.4 to load 2 x 16s might have a bit more power that the same length 19mm. Its easy to change a single 19 to twin 16s on most guns. Each gun has plenty of power for king fish. I would not suggest the purchase of either gun unless you have tried a 1.3 or 1.4 gun. Ask the sellers for a try. A 20 m float line with a bunjie has plenty of spring to soften the pull of most large fish. A 30 m line will do the same job without the extra join but there is more line to tangle. Plenty of king fish have been shot with shorter guns ( or longer) and a 20 m float line. Longer gun has a bit more range. Hope this helps I have only ever shot 1 king fish.( not to many around Shepparton.) I used a 1.3 twin rubber and pranger with 20 m float line.Ivor got one in same school with 1m , flopper and 20 m line . Both fish about 13kg. Marmo- " Wouldn't him replying in thus thread be "contacting" seller as no mobile number is listed." How would you contact the seller if you wanted to purchase? Use your head, PM, forum post,Legendary have their own web site, and Bretts add lists his number and e mail. |
