I'd come along to a meeting and meet some ppl. You will find it easier to find a buddy and if you are new to the sport it's a great way to pick up advice and become a better and safer spearo. The meetings are on the first Wednesday every month so there is one coming up pretty soon. There are other clubs in vic too if u want.
