Geoff, I was around Port yesterday and it was looking ordinary. Didn't dive. I doubt it's any better today the wind has done 360's. Blowing light NW atm wich is not what you want there anyway

Never dived between brighton and apollo bay. so wouldnt have a clue! Just look at maps and seabreeze/willy and previous forum info on portarlington.

Do u recommend anywhere else eg st leonards, queenscliff. Im in werribee working at the moment and got all my gear in the car and slowly making my way down towards that direction. If its shit down this way I'll turn back and go east side of the bay or mornington. Either way ill be diving somewhere.

Was out in the boat today. Stleonards was average, Queenscliff was quite dirty too. Dived at Portsea and it was 6-7m. Was improving but not that flash until tomorrow me thinks

Have to plan a bit better and speak with you westies before hand. I checked the water in a few northern spots white caps, 1ft+ swell and water clarity didnt look great. So drove all the way back to the east of the bay and had a dive.

Thanks for your help anyway boys
