Scott your talking about a sport your entire nation is devoted to. To us it is something played played by 2 states which is also the number of shits we couldn't give about rugby.

An entire nation that has a population roughly equal to Melbourne. There are actually 4 states and 1 territory in Australia that have rugby teams who play internationally.

Not that I care.....

That looks like heaps of fun.

Greg, I love my footy as much as any Victorian but fuck me Rugby is so much more of a mans sport nowadays. How can you not like a sport where the ref can still in this day and age say "Stiff shit mate, you punched him first so you had it coming!" I hate to say it but afl is getting more and more fucked every season.
Umpires discretion should never have been taken out of it! They change the rules every f'n season why not add Harrigan for one and see how it goes!

I'm not a huge Aussie rules fan but I have to agree that it's a fairly unique code, gotta love some of the old school all in brawls. When it's on it's on, even the officials used to get amongst it! Obviously things have a changed a bit over time.

Rhino it's not about whether it's a good game or not, it's about stopping a kiwi from getting his jollies putting up a picture of another Kiwi that has beaten an Aussie.

Plenty of pictures out there of Aussies beating us at sports to make you feel better Greg. Here's a pretty typical one

At least the underarm incident was within the rules.
Brendon McCullum is just a cheat.
Then there is the all blacks you love so much.

An article written by a whinging pom. Is that the best you can find?!

Considering two English coaching staff were barred during the Rugby World Cup 2011 after admitting to cheating by ball swapping during a match.....

Not much credibility from the pommy media articles I'm afraid.

Rugby is pretty much one professional foul after the another. Like any sport you play to the whistle. Just ask your bloke who got put in the bin last match. Or any one of your blokes that regularly collapses the scrum to pull play away from one of the ABs strong points. I'm sure the author feels a lot better now they've had a cry and a whinge, and maybe he can write another article about how the pool water was too cold at the olympics or the hills are too high in the tour de france. I guess Richie must be an extra good cheat to trick your team into forgetting to put any points on the board, or conceding pretty much your entire half at the first whiff of an attack. letting us get into the position to get tries in the first place. Tricky man.
One of the reasons the game is so weak in this country is twits like that journo, you spend too much time looking at outside causes when you should be looking at your own team. You've got the best coach in the game, the bloke that taught Richie to cheat so many moons ago, if anybody could get a team to beat the ABs its Deans.
