Hey Everyone, Last time i went out diving i found a good patch of mussels, i was going to grab a few next time i went back but someone told me that they weren't sure if the mussels in the bay were good for eating? I was assuming they would be alright but now i am not 100% sure. Does anyone know if they are fine? |

They farm them in the bay so it can't be all that bad. |

keep an eye out for angasi oysters as well. You generally find them in the same spots. |

They are a native oyster that you find mostly in the bay. They have a stronger flavour than pacific or sydney rock oysters but if you like oysters they are heaps better than the pre shucked shit they serve in most restaurants. They absolutely rock in a carpet bag steak. |
