Io never looked into it when I was over there but think I'm going back in a couple months, we stayed at patong beach hotel last time, if your getting ink I recommend Bangla ink on Bangla road, top work and great rates compared to all the other people around. Let me know if you find anything out |

Charles is the RA rep in Thailand and is always looking to take visiting Auzzies out for a spear. charleswillberry@hotmail.com; send him an email. I was staying in Phuket and he picked me up from the hotel and organized everything, the water is hot and the fish smart. Take a long gun but dont transit singapore as spearguns are a prohibited item. |

Going back to Thailand on 26th April to 12th may, What thickness suit would you recconmend? imagine a 3mm steamer would be fairly warm (have 3mm steamer, 3mm open cell, and 5mm open cell) I'll get in contact with the guy you mentioned also |

Man its HOT in the water28deg+ go a 2mm or 3mm top only MAX. The biggest drama is sunburn, make sure you have plenty sunblock and wear stinger suit or something to cover your skin. There is floating debris evey where, logs, nets, coconuts etc in some spots. Fish are very good on the counter intel and are SMART, even parrots will give you the shits. I used a 90cm gun and found it tough shooting a small green jobbie and small parrot. Learnt the hard way, take a 1.3 at least if you have it. (not sure what the weather will be like for you at that time of year, it was still monsoon season? when I went in august/sept) |
