I'll be in Aus for 2.5 months (based in Melbourne)... Should I bring a 3mm suit or 5mm suit along?

I'm going to Indo for a month (whole of Feb) so I'm taking my 2 big guns along (I have a feeling I'll be super undergunned) but it'll be an experience of note!

got some good kingi's this last weekend off Cape Point in Cape Town and heading to Struis Bay this weekend for a few bigger ones!

anyone need me to bring a RA or Freedivers gun from SA?

3mm suit and a 1.2 will do everything including kingies if you stumble across some.

Not everybody has the same resistance to cold. I rarely get out of my 5 mm (and that's when I am home and ready for bed).

Water temp in Port Phillip is about 22 now (well, it was this morning). In the ocean it will be more like 19 degrees. It should stay pretty much that temp till the end of March and then will plummet.
