Veteran comp spearo and club diver, Danny Heaver, is in the throes of putting together an evening to reunite club divers from the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's. If you are/were a club/comp diver or know anyone who was/is, please contact Danny. The event is planned for April 2014 and most likely will be held in Geelong. All help will be much appreciated.

The reunion will definitely be held in April 2014. There are already over 40 divers wanting to attend so far ( wives are encouraged ) This is not for OLD spearo's only. If you are a recent addition to the fraternity, and want to meet guys like Geoff Skinner, Dave Torrelli etc you're welcome.Tony De Fina wants to come and say's Barry Andrewatha is a starter. ( excuse my spelling ) There will be a load of Bulldogs there, Western District divers,Midlands & other Melbourne clubs eg: Kew, Sudar,Morabbin,Sea Urchins,Frankston. This is a VUF reunion, not just a bulldog function. It will be held at a venue with meals available and we encourage people to bring photo albums & old club magazines etc. This is not a BBQ piss-up. Casual clothes ---- we do need to know numbers though, so please let us know so we can cater for the size of the function room.

The VUF reunion has been changed to MAY 31st 2014 to try & fit-in with the comp. dates. I realize this is a spare day, but have the fingers crossed that it will work out Ok. The reaction has been unbelievable from older divers, & there are divers from Geelong in particular wanting to come ( they are at present not in any club )
If you want a proper written invite sent to you, please let me know as we have booked a venue for 100 at this stage but we need numbers for forward planning of the food.
