Hey all,
No clue what common species (Except Snapper) hang around the Mornington area. Any help with learning what these are and size/bag limit would be great!

Cheers,
Lewy.

Common target fish; Snook, flathead, red mullet, squid, snapper. Less common; flounder, whiting.

The occasional special fish come out of there including Kingy, dory, giant boarfish, Sampson fish  .

PAAAASSSSS!!!!!!!! Only good for shark bait! haha.

Otherwise, the rest of them sound pretty nice, still to land my first Kingy, never managed to find them on my dives.
Sounds like some good quality plate fillers! :P

Just watch out for killer whales mate, they are pretty vicious around Mornington. Particularly when targeting Samson fish!
