Have just ordered a 100cm carbon gun with 16mm and 18mm rubbers(not doubled up), could a snapper or any other larger species be landed by a gun of this size? |

The gun has good potential, Drew Fenney landed a snapper between 5-6kg if I'm correct with only a 75cm gun. |

Drew is a Victorian Champion and has represented Australia in at least two World Championships and several winning Inter-Pacific's and had been known to catch fish with his bare hands so not the best comparison, but yes 100cm single rubber gun is ideal for Victoria. |

A few people shoot big snapper each year, like a few people have shot kingfish with a 100cm gun. If you know where to place your shot and how to hunt the species or sometimes you get dumb fish! anything is possible no matter who you are. |
