Gday,

First dive comp of the 09/10 series scheduled for this Sunday. Murry is going away this weekend, so Drew is filling in as dive convenor.

Forecast is not very nice:
Sunday 9/13
Morning
Light winds with a slight chop. Small long period swell.
Seas: WSW 1.7 meters at 18 sec.
Winds: NNW 7 to 10 knots

Afternoon
Breezy whitecapping conditions with moderate choppy seas. Small long period swell.
Seas: WSW 1.8 meters at 17 sec.
Winds: NW 11 to 15 knots

WSW means Fingal is well and truely out. Drew and Muzza are going to discuss the weather and post something on Saturday. The other side of Cape Shank or Pyramid Rock are options, it won't be very nice but it will be good training for the Nationals.

As discussed at the meeting there is some new rules i have developed for the club series. I am still finishing them off, so if they are not ready for the weekend Drew will go over the high points in the pre-dive brief.

Comp is ON at Cape Shank. Get there at 8am for a 9am start..

Drew has had a look this arvo and it is very divable and there is even a bit of viz. If it comes up over night, comp may be moved to Flinders.

You must be a member to compete. You can sign up tomorrow but please do so with Paul early, so you don't interupt his pre-dive meditation.
