just wanted to let people know that dont already know that this boat comp is a free for all,you and your boat can go to any spot after launching at sorrento. So people need to organise there boat rides now and not leave it to the last minute. The more serious divers may not take any one in there boats ,just want people to organise it now. cheers

Do you need to be a club member for comps?
and if you do, if i sign up now as a member will that be fine for me to compete?
And with boats, what would the best way to organize that be?

thats actually freaky as lol... i was about to ask what the deal was with this comp, due to the fact that it said the chrissy party was to be held on the day of this comp.. so i have my answer

anyhow the real reason for the post.......... has anyone got any spare spots on a boat? i understand you might want to take your mates and all and thats fine but yeah if any free spots are available that would be great..

also a few of my mates should be right for this comp aswell so if you have more than one spot, even better!
i should be at the meeting wednesday, so if its all good just drop a post or pm, let me know who you are and ill find you at the meeting (if your going)

just had a look at the weather, less than 12knots of westerly for sunday so im calling it on. if the weather forecast changes for the worst tomorrow i may change it to a shore dive at cape shank. hopefully that wont happen. so 8 oclock at the sorrento boat ramp,people are allowed to sure dive. they can drive to what ever location they want,just have to be back at the carpark at 3,no later. im sure if people ask brett nicely he will help them out with a few dive spots. ill double check the weather tomorrow and have something on here before 3 tomorrow. cheers

If you haven't got a boat ride still turn up, I know of a few divers who are choosing to
shore dive the comp so either way you will still dive the comp.

We will be having a BBQ with the left over snags from the Chrissy party in the park afterwards so feel free to get the family/mates to meet you down there, I am.

sorry for the late notice but is there anyone that can pick up 4 juniors around mckinnon, ormond area tomoz, we will be happy to all put in $10 each so you will get $40 if you can take us all. otherwise we would be happy to go in separate cars. we are desprate and all of our parents are to f@%&ing lazy. PLEASE HELP US!!

this comp was awsome,i wish every comp could be a boat dive,or even more than one a year,im sure if we start doing more boat dives more blokes would start buying boats,can we look into it.Once again i had a ball,thanks to kev for the ride.
