Last that i heard the port fairy boat comp was being put forward to this Sunday due to weather, i think a decision will be made tomorrow as to if its held this weekend. my guess would be that it will be postponed again but will try to post tomorrow when its put up on Facebook

Hi All, The Victorian Spearfishing Commission final competition for the year, the Pt Fairy boat comp is on ..... This comp is also the final heat of the Hannan boat competition'. There are two possible weekends to hold the comp 17-18th of May and 24-25th of May. As always the convener will make the call based on conditions predicted but we expect it to go ahead unless conditions are judged to be unsafe. Cheers.

Yeah mate, it's open to rock hopping as well as being in a boat, you've just gotta be back at the sign on/off area on time

I just spoke to Pete Riddle. Port Fairy Boat comp is ON this Sunday 18 May. Meet at Port Fairy boat ramp (the one in the river) at 8 am. Winds are Northerly, Seas are Clear, See ya there!
