The Victorian Kingfish Cup is hopefully going to proceed this Sunday (February 19th) from Walkerville Sth beach. Conditions are improving with a moderating ENE wind and light winds forecast for the afternoon.
Meeting time is 0700 hours at the Walkerville Sth beach, not Walkerville Nth.
Start time is from 0900 hours through to 1500 hours.

Kingfish numbers have been good during past week at Wilsons Promontory.
Land based options look good also with low swell and good conditions expected at nearby Cape Liptrap.
Great prizes will be given out at the BBQ on location after the competition.
Sign on is $60 seniors and $30 juniors. All participants MUST be financial members of the Australian Underwater Federation. A boat safety check and briefing will be done in the morning.

Nice work what weights did the fish go?
How many others were shot?
And how many people atteneded?

Not sure on exact weights but was around 8.7 and 11something kg. The other fish were all around 0kg with no one else getting any.. Tough day but there were sightings by some but other pairs didn't see any myself included. Still was a great day and thanks Rob again for organising it.

Thanks Tim for being my partner on day also and Pierre for taking us on his boat..
