Thanks Drew

So what was the verdict from the meeting?

Can competitors run up the coast for a few kilometers then enter the water OR do they have to enter the water within 50m of the starting point as per AUF rules in nationals??

cheers

Comp will start at the waters edge and finish in the car park. If people want to walk along the coast at the start of the comp they may do so.

How rough will it be?
Will it be clean?
How clean?
How many fish can I shoot?
How big do they have to be?
Will it be cold?
Will my Rob Allen Sparid with twin 16s, break away rig, detachable head and 6.5 mm titanium cored, stainless shaft be OK?
If I only fish 3hrs do I only have to pay $5?
Will it be sunny?
Is sunscreen supplied?
How far is the walk?
Do I have to wear a mask? Mine leaks. ( it cost me $15. I'm spewing)
Will someone be able to do everything for me as I am brain dead?

Koonya beach is at the end of Hughes Rd in Blairgowrie. For the totally stupid I will clarify that: I mean the Southern end of Hughes Rd. The end away from the bay. The rough end. It will be the end with lots of other divers standing around in it. ( unless of course there are divers hanging around the bay end which will be the wrong end). I can dish out GPS co-ordinates for those interested.

I'm sure I can lend you a mask Brett, from the pic of you and your hybrid sardine in the latest newsletter I can kinda understand why the silicon must be fried.

It'll be pretty rough Nigz but definately come down for it. If it's too rough for one then I'm sure there'll be a few boys who are more keen for just the dive than the comp so you can go dive Portsea or somewhere in the bay? If I wasn't diving it I'd definately be there for the weigh in at least!
