Just a quick question, I have dived Diamond Bay a few times but never in a comp. I understand that the carpark just near the beach is only big enough for maybe 8 cars so I presume that most of us will have to find alternate parking. Is there anywhere else nearby to park?

Cheers, Dave

You can come and have a social dive but you have to be a member to dive the comp, insurance etc!

calling the comp on ,4 foot of swell and falling, light winds. should be a good dive, vis might be a little shity in the bay itself but out side should be good. remember float/flag/whistle/mirror/knife. 8 oclock sign on,9 oclock start, hope to see you there

Hi!

Can I come with and dive as well, outside of the comp?

I'm not a member, just here from Sweden for a couple of months studying.

I have all the gear but would need a lift from the city.

PM me if someone can give me a lift.

/ Martin

Can someone bring some Kwells or Travacalm tomorrow? It's for a friend of a friend!

Nothing like a couple of Kwells in your concrete first thing in the morning!

More than welcome Martin, can't help with the lift tho!

These photos are quite deceptive. Conditions nowhere near as good as they look here. Very hard comp for the two dozen who competed. ( Murray won the day )

How was the visibility Brett? Did the comp go for the full 6 hours or was it revised down? I am stuck at home studying unfortunately with an exam on Tuesday, wish I was out spearing fish :)

Also, any extraordinary fish speared today?

Cheers,

Tom
