Stunning conditions greeted us at Sorrento Ocean Beach. Very small turnout; perhaps some of you just can't be dragged from a computer screen? Visibility was up to 15metres and there were fish every where.

The Results
1 Ashleigh Illingworth 10 Species (9 weighed in) Ladies/Junior
2 Margie Bagby 8 Species Ladies/Open
3 Luke ? 5 Species Senior
4 Josh Goss 5 Species Junior
5 Russell ? 3 Species Senior

Heaviest fish was a 7940gm conger eel by Margie.

The dive was a good introduction to comps, held in great conditions. Many thanks to Paul and Margie for supplying t-shirts and hats to the paticipants.

By the way; Drew caught two hefty crays and Justin managed a small one.

This comp was open to all comers; not just club members. It was an introductory comp for non-comp divers/beginners, to give them an idea as to what it is all about. We will have another soon.

Awesome stuff...great to see the younger folk getting stuck into a great sport and getting out and active.

Can someone please tell me what beach that is in Sorrento? ie. Road
