Sorry Oska no news yet. Murray will be working so myself or Paul D will be conveynoring the comp.

Weather reports look ok from what I have seen briefly a few days ago but I will speak to Muzz tomorrow about location.

There will be a comp this weekend somewhere..

Theres no meeting on this week I know of and comp supposed to be on the West Coast but this can always change. It's up to the dive convenors to decide the safest and best location and they normally will post it later in the week.

4.0m Rollin in down cape otway atm, Don't like your chances of diving that way unless you's enjoy pea soup. It has been epic surf for over 2 weeks of the surf coast, perhaps have a surf comp instead?

2 foot and under fri, sat and sun down the west coast. That's what Swellnet seems to think anyway.

This weekends conditions are as good as there gonna get. That end of town can clear up pretty quickly. Was at Lorne 2 weeks ago, May 1st, you would struggle to see the end of your gun, May 2nd, 7m+ vis.

Obviously vis would be ordinary at the moment due to resent offshore winds and larger swell, but these will dissipate very quickly now due to onshore winds that have commenced on the mid west coast. We still have a bit of time for the conditions to improve, how about giving the dive conveners till Saturday so they can assess conditions which is generally the way all comps are scheduled.
