Why do we open new threads on the same subject?

Forums are to difficult to comprehend, let alone use effectively. People just like to waste our database space.

We do it occasionally if there is a change.

Eg. Comp canned, re-scheduled, called ON unexpectedly. This so the information is obvious and we don't have people saying "i didn't read that far through the thread". Yes for the Kennet River comp there was only one post but I was planning ahead so we didnt have to start a new thread next week (Yes I actually thought before I started a thread). If people dont like information being easy to find I can bury it deep in a thread.
