Todays' weather totally justifies the competitions move to Saturday. Conditions inside the bay were great with calm seas and very clear water. A lot of quality fish came in, particularly the array of large Six Spines, Flathead and Boaries.

Top day, great to see some new faces; Paul B and Ryan. Fantastic to see Zia and Jake do the comp, overall everyone was smiling and moral was high. Well done to Muz, Brett, Jake, Chris and Watto. Stoked with the Stargazer I caught and as Brett said to me 'you won't take another one' I totally agree, they are too awesome and rare to target even though the flesh is absolutely awesome.

was a great comp, and really good too see so much life in the bay even though the waters still cold... just shows that the temp doesnt mean everything! good to see the vast array of quality species that came in to the weigh as well.
a very well done to everyone that competed, expecially the shore divers!
